Ever hear of the Black Swan effect?

Well, this is pretty tragic. I have to wonder why she stayed in that situation. It’s very sad. Hopefully, someone dealing with this kind of thing will see this and get out after that first bruise. -Waveybrain

Woman takes a photo of herself every day for a year, chronicling the affects of an abusive relationship.

This is heartbreaking. You can see the happiness and hope slip from her eyes with every shot.

tw domestic abuse

this is heartbreaking tbh

Don’t stop reblogging. Women are better than this to stay with men who do this. Stay strong. Know your worth.

The sign she holds up at the end is in Croatian, it reads, “help me, I don’t know if I can wait for tomorrow.”

I gasped at the end.

That was hard to watch.

I’m crying

Nobody deserves this. Man or woman. If you are being abused, please, look for help. There IS someone there for you.

Not quite the Mutual of Omaha Nature Show I grew up with…I’m not sure if I’d be happier growing up on this kind of nature documentary, or Mutual of Omaha.  -Waveybrain

Pretty great conclusion to the world title race.  Parko certainly deserved it.  I think he had the most style in the Pipe Masters.  I only wish it came down to a final with Slater.  -Waveybrain

Primus was a great band to see live.  Here’s an unusual retrospective on them.  I guess I’m actually about 70 years old!  I remember a show at the Hollywood Palladium that looked like the opening shot on this “retrospective”.  Good times! -Waveybrain

Where is the Dark Knight in this picture?  It’s a weird one and reminds me of cheesy film representations of these kinds of sub-cultures.  Nice to see a more authentic version for a change.  Looks wild. -Waveybrain

Stewart vs Rubio:  probably one of the best Left/Right philosophical debates I’ve heard of late.  I’ll just let you judge for yourself who’s speaking more truths.  (—-marco-rubio-extended-interview-pt—2)There’s also a part one to this interview -but, the latter one is more substantial. Here’s the link to Part 1:  (—-marco-rubio-extended-interview-pt—1)  -Waveybrain

One day more army recruits will come from CalArts than West Point.  Imagine how much faster that would go with some “extremes” (animation lingo).  -Waveybrain

This is funny.  I haven’t seen Pete since when we were at CalArts together.  Nice to see peers doing what they set out to do.  Pete was very passionate about animation from day one.  -Waveybrain

My friend, Rob Pratt takes his “Classic Superman” concept to another level.  Check it out, and support his efforts!  He’s a cool guy, with some good taste as you will see.

Last year we posted an excellent fan-made film, Superman Classic, by Disney veteran animator Rob Pratt (Tarzan, Pocahontas, Kick Buttowski, Kim Possible). Platt returns with this follow up and explains his process after the clip in the video below. As a longtime fan of the classic Man of Steel, I hope my friends at Warner […]
